Export Documents Checklist for Worldwide Live Fish Shipment from Thailand
Many new importers lose shipment at customs because documents are incomplete. At AquaBridge Thailand, Bangkok - Thailand, we use a full checklist for worldwide shipment to USA, EU, Middle East, and Asia.

1. Health Certificate - Required for All Countries
Issued by Department of Fisheries Thailand (DOF). Required for all live ornamental fish export from Thailand. Valid 10 days. Takes 1-2 working days. Must have correct scientific names, farm registration, and quantity. Without health certificate, airline will not accept cargo.

2. CITES Permit - Only for CITES Listed Species
Required for Asian Arowana (Scleropages formosus) CITES Appendix I, some Stingray, and endangered species. Not required for Betta, Guppy, Cichlid, Tetra, Goldfish, Koi. Takes 7-15 working days, for Arowana 15-20 days. Some countries like USA need USFWS import permit.

3. Invoice and Packing List - Required for Customs
We prepare commercial invoice and packing list with species, scientific name, quantity, unit price, and total value. This is for destination customs clearance. We use low value for customs if you request, but must match health certificate quantity.

4. Real House Air Waybill (AWB) - Not Shared AWB
AWB is airline bill. Real house AWB means your shipment has its own AWB number. Your boxes are priority. Shared AWB mixes your boxes with 10 other exporters, causes delay and high DOA risk. At AquaBridge Thailand, we use real house AWB only for low mortality and fast handling.

5. Packing Video and Photos - For Your Proof
Not a government document, but required by us. We provide video of packing for every box, foam box number, and AWB copy before flight departs. This is proof for DOA claim and customs.
